These include our high quality Tomamine® M and Arosurf® MG reagents for reverse flotation silica from iron ore that are specifically designed for this type of mineral flotation.

Iron ore mines are slowly becoming more complex:
- Mining sweet spots are becoming limited and
- Previously processed tailings are recycled
Hence the need of specialty chemistry to target these difficult ores. Evonik can tailor make formulations utilizing chemistries to help optimize metals recovery, level of frothing and concentrate grade.
